The sound most of hear from mice is those little feet scrambling behind the furniture in the wee hours and it’s not a particularly welcome one at that, but this little guy might make your heart melt a bit toward the rodents of the world.

The Surrey Wildlife Trust is responsible for the video and is currently taking donations to help fund the Surrey Dormouse Project, wherein they monitor boxes where the little creatures hibernate in the surrounding area.

Rest assured funds will not be used for adenoid surgery or wee breathing machines.
